«Ich bin gespannt, was mich erwartet!»
At the start of the 2022/23 academic year, five of the 33 new students share their journey to tsc. They also answer questions about their goals for starting their studies or the annual course and their first impressions of the tsc community.

How did you get to TSC?
It was a long road to my application to study theology. Attending a discipleship school and later a basic Bible course in Norway were important. This was where the call to study theology became louder within me. I became aware of the TSC through the recommendation of a colleague and the pastor of my congregation, Chrischona Dübendorf. I applied because I was following God’s call. In the end, I didn’t need any more convincing.
What is your goal when you begin your studies?
I can imagine many things. For example, serving in a mission or working as a part-time pastor. I enjoy practical work and meeting people in the midst of my work.
What is your first impression of the tsc community?
I’ve been warmly welcomed; the people are happy. That’s great. I hope I’ll still have time for my studies alongside the many things the community offers. (laughs)

- CAS programs(1 year, Certificate of Advanced Studies) from the Institute for Leadership and Community Development.
- GenerationPLUS Academy(2- or 3-day courses, CAS possible) – Further training opportunities for the second half of life
- Online courses(1 or 2 semesters, proof of achievement) – can be individually taken for personal further education.
